Jeffrey is a composer, multi-instrumentalist and graduate of the University of Toronto, where he majored in Composition. As a composer, Jeffrey has written extensively for small chamber groups, vocal and instrumental soloists, wind ensembles and orchestras. some recent performances of his works include his piece "hidden narrative" being performed at the canadian music centre's event "The extended mind" and his "Kawartha Nights" being performed at the first toronto tuba and euphonium symposium (Totes). He has also branched out into creating film and video game music including the 2017 short film "Birds of a feather," 2018 video game "Fey," and the soon to be released game "Summer with the Shiba Inu."  Jeffrey has performed many solo bassoon recitals, often showcasing his own compositions, and has performed with ensembles such as the University of Toronto Symphony Orchestra, The Bermuda Philharmonic, Kindred Spirits Orchestra and the North York Symphony Orchestra. Jeffrey has always been a multi-instrumentalist; besides bassoon, he also has extensive experience playing saxophone, flute, clarinet and piano (for which he obtained his rcm grade 10 in 2017). Jeffrey is also an experienced digital music producer; in october 2015 he released his first electronic music ep "Sign of the times" followed by his most recent release "Culturally Irrelevant" which he released on spotify and itunes under the name Sarabande. Jeffrey’s passion for teaching has only grown over his five years of experience giving lessons on woodwinds and piano. He focuses on a grounding in classical technique to teach all styles to students of any age.
